The most popular international film festival of Hungary is starting in a few day
„Your country” – for which you fight if need be.
„Your fight” – to accomplish your desires.
„Your desire” – so that you do not need to hide your beliefs.
„Your belief” – the thing you do not want to hide as a secret.
„Your secret” – your country…
Budapest International Documentary Festival organizes and hosts the competition of award-winning, feature-length movies for the 10th time
- between 27 January and 4 February;
- in the Cinema City Mammut in Budapest and in 10 cities across Hungary.
Two of the featured films are current candidates for an Oscar: Four Daughters (France, Tunisia, Germany and SaudiArabia) and In the Rearview (Poland, France and Ukraine).
In 6 sections, 28 international jury membersare going to vote for 45 competing films.
Among others, the jury has Mette Hoffmann Meyer, Marcin Malatynski, SvetoslavDraganov, Ingrid Mayerova, Márta Sebestyén, Péter Gesztiamong their members.

70 answers, 70 films, 200 screenings in 11 cities.
After the screenings, the audience will be invited to meet and talk with the artists.
